TERMS AND CONDITIONS - CUSTOM FRAMES

  1. The initial design and consultation stage is subject to a one-off fee of £250 which is deducted if the client places an order. 

  2. We reserve the right to use bike fit data (Retoul, Shimano or similar) as we see fit and in accordance with the information the client provides to us along with our own experience of fitting bikes.  

  3. By signing the order you are agreeing to these terms and conditions of sale. 

  4. For whole bikes payment is divided into three equal payments. Payment one is a deposit at point of order. Payment two is due once the frame is fabricated before it is sent to paint. Payment three is on the day of handover. 

  5. For frames the payment is divided into two equal parts. Payment one is a deposit at point of order. Payment two is on the day of handover.

  6. Prices are subject to UK VAT. 

  7. Once an order has been placed it is not possible to alter or amend the frame design. Please make sure the order is correct before signing. 

  8. We will provide you with an estimated delivery date which we will make every effort to meet but may be subject to change depending on external factors such as availability of parts and lead times with our suppliers.  

  9. Our custom bikes are not refundable and you are not entitled to request a refund under any circumstances.  

TERMS AND CONDITIONS - STOCK FRAMES

  1. The customer is responsible for checking the geometry chart and purchasing the correct size. Craft Bikes accepts no responsibility for purchase of an incorrect frame size.

  2. The customer is responsible for checking the specification for this bike and adhering to Craft Bikes recommendations. Any deviation from our recommended specification is at the customers own risk.

  3. Anodising is a natural process and therefore colours may vary slightly or contain small imperfections.

  4. Craft Bikes frames are designed only for their stated intended use category. The customer acknowledges that misuse, modification, stunt riding, competitive use outside of intended discipline, overloading, or improper assembly may result in frame failure, injury or death.

  5. Frames must be assembled by a qualified mechanic and Craft Bikes will not accept any liability for frame damage incurred due to poor assembly. 

  6. Customers are responsible for use of correct torque settings, routine maintenance and inspections, replacing worn or damaged components.

  7. Riding a bicycle involves inherent risks. The rider accepts full responsibility for safe operation and maintenance.

  8. All orders are subject to acceptance and stock availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, correct pricing errors, request additional verification before dispatch.

  9. Payment must be received before goods are shipped.

  10. Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

  11. Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.

  12. Assembly or use of the frame constitutes acceptance of the cosmetic condition and finish.

  13. Customers must inspect deliveries immediately and notify us within 48 hours for shipping damage, and 7 days for missing items or incorrect products. Failure to notify us within the periods may affect eligibility for claims.

  14. Customers purchasing only may have rights under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Unused stock frames may be returned within 14 days of delivery provided: the frame is unused and unassembled, it is returned in its original packaging, it has not been modified or damaged. 

  15. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

  16. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Craft Bikes shall not be liable for: indirect or consequential loss, loss of use, loss of profit, personal injury or property damage arising from improper assembly, misuse, neglect or failure to maintain the product. Nothing in the Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law, including liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence.

  17. Customers must stop using the frame immediately if they notice: cracks, structural damage, unusual noises, or deformation. Continued use of a damaged frame may result in injury or death.

  18. All content, branding, graphics, products design, and media on the Craft Bikes website remains the property of Craft Bikes and may not be reproduced without written permission.

  19. Prices are subject to UK VAT.
